Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vox ("Vox", "we", "us"), a voice-capture service operated by Fernando Junior. By creating an account or otherwise using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Vox.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vox. If you are using Vox on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at fernandorovai@hotmail.com of any unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Record other people without their consent where required by law.
• Use Vox to generate, transmit, or store unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
• Circumvent quota limits, security mechanisms, or rate limits.
• Use Vox to build a competing service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Subscription and billing

Vox offers a free tier and a paid "Vox Pro" subscription. Free-tier limits are published on the pricing page; current limits are 30 minutes of recorded audio per month and 2-minute per-capture length. Vox Pro removes those limits to 300 minutes per month and 5-minute captures.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, Google, or Stripe (via RevenueCat) at the price shown at purchase, in your local currency where supported. Unless cancelled, subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period. You may cancel at any time from your store account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by the policy of the store that processed the payment.

We may change pricing with at least 14 days' notice via email or in-app notice; the new price applies on the next renewal.

Your content

You retain ownership of all audio recordings, transcripts, and structured outputs you create with Vox (collectively, "Your Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you. We do not use Your Content to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Third-party connectors

Vox can route the output of your captures to third-party services you connect (Google Drive, Google Calendar, Notion, Todoist, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from in-app settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your data will be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

Vox is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Transcriptions and AI-generated structuring are produced by probabilistic models and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing critical outputs (such as calendar events and tasks) before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD 25.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Vox in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Vox after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, Brazil, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
